Learn to Cook with a Friend in Paris
Learning to Cook: Paule Caillat
Cours de Cuisine with Françoise Meunier
Other Cooking Schools

Of the Americans in Paris few are as colorful, free-spirited, and community-minded as Jim Haynes, teacher, publisher of Handshake Editions, spiritual guru of limitless love and spiritual networking. In the Sixties, with friend Germaine Greer, Jim founded Suck Magazine, a sexual revolution paper.

Every Sunday night in his atelier more than 50 friends, visitors, and new guests take part in (for a nominal fee) a wonderful blue-plate dinner with unlimited wine and beer. Proceeds go to buy food shipments for people in oppressed places. Jim´s 14 volume address book tells all, as does his autobiography, Thanks for Coming (Faber & Faber). Reservations for Sunday are made by phone on Saturday afternoon. Jim Haynes Atelier A2, 83, rue de la Tombe-Issoire 75014 PARIS Tel: 01.43.27.17.67.
