Located inside a colorful 19th century market "La Halle Saint-Pierre", built in 1868 by one of Baltard´s students, and one of the best examples of the metalic architecture of the period, the Musée d´art Na•f Max Fourny houses temporary exhibitions of art brut, art na•f, outsider art, and popular native art. The Max Fourny collection includes 629 works. Mr. Fourny himself is a private collector. The Halle Saint-Pierre includes a workshop for children on Wednesdays and weekends from 3 p.m. - 4p.m., an auditorium, and a bookshop. Plus, a very pleasant café-restaurant with excellent salads, quiches, and carrot cake.
